• Setting: General Medical & Surgical Units (Central Registry - Float Pool)
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• End Date: August 3, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
• Weekend Requirement: 3 weekend shifts every 4 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
• Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state (travel nurse licensure)
• BLS certification (AHA required)
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a Level 1, Level 2, or tertiary care facility
• At least 1 year of Med/Surg experience at a large hospital (600+ beds)
• Proficiency with Epic EHR (electronic health record experience preferred)
• Comfortable floating to other medical units and working within a central registry/float pool

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive Med/Surg nursing care for adult patients with a variety of medical and surgical diagnoses
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and complete documentation using Epic EHR
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and operate clinical equipment (IV pumps, wound vacs, feeding pumps, telemetry monitors)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, PT/OT, case managers) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Float to areas of greatest need across medical units as part of the central registry/float pool
• Participate in orientation, including facility onboarding and Epic training for travel nurses
