Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Location: Cleveland, OH 44106 (Cleveland nursing jobs / Ohio travel nursing)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 16, 2026)
• Setting: 30-bed Med/Surg unit with 12 step-down beds (medical surgical RN / step-down unit)
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site clinical nursing role
• Positions Available: 5

Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience (Med-Surg Tele RN / telemetry RN)
• BLS certification (AHA)
• Ability to manage both Med/Surg and step-down patients; experience with post-op transplant and bariatric patient care preferred
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings, drug screen, and background checks
• Charge nurse experience preferred, or willingness to train/ shadow for intermittent charge responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to pre-op and post-op solid organ transplant and bariatric surgery patients (clinical nursing, patient monitoring)
• Monitor telemetry and manage patients across Med/Surg and step-down settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, surgeons, pharmacists, PT/OT) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform charge nurse duties as needed (training provided); support unit workflow and staffing coordination
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner in the electronic medical record (EMR)
• Work every other weekend and every other holiday as required
