Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 3, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,370 – $2,500
• Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 07:00 AM – 03:30 PM, 8 Hour Days, variable start times
• Setting: Outpatient Endoscopy Unit – Gastroenterology/Endoscopy
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse / Travel Assignment

• EMR: EPIC experience required

Job Requirements

• Active and unrestricted RN license (must meet facility/state requirements)
• At least 1 year of recent Endoscopy and/or PACU nursing experience
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record (EMR) platform
• Completion of required health screenings, immunizations, and background checks
• Ability to complete facility-specific orientation and skills validation
• Current BLS required; ACLS or sedation monitoring certifications preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures in an outpatient setting
• Triage and monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures, including sedation monitoring
• Administer medications and assist with moderate sedation as appropriate; monitor recovery
• Collaborate with gastroenterologists, anesthesia, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Accurately document all care, vitals, and interventions in EPIC
• Educate patients and families on procedure preparation, discharge instructions, and post-procedure care
• Maintain a safe, efficient outpatient endoscopy workflow and support quality improvement initiatives
