- Assignment Type: Travel Contract (13-week travel nurse assignment)
- Setting: Emergency Department (38 beds) — Level III Trauma Center, emergency department nursing
- Start Date: May 4, 2026
- End Date: August 3, 2026
- Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week) — night shift ER RN
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,770 (travel nurse pay)
- Dress Code: Black scrubs
- EMR: Cerner (experience required) — Cerner EMR experience preferred for ER roles
Top Qualifications
- Active RN license (state of practice required)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience — ER RN, trauma nurse experience preferred
- Cerner EMR proficiency required
- BLS and ACLS certifications (facility or state-required additional certifications may apply)
- Willingness to float as needed
- Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the Nursing Process, following state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
- Deliver high-quality emergency and trauma nursing care for a diverse patient population
- Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership while prioritizing patient safety
- Respond effectively in trauma, stroke, and STEMI situations — facility is certified for trauma, stroke, and STEMI
- Delegate and supervise patient care based on staff education and experience; support and mentor team members
- Maintain and update clinical competencies through continuing education and required training
