• Setting: Emergency Department (38 beds) — Level III Trauma Center, emergency department nursing
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• End Date: August 3, 2026
• Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week) — night shift ER RN
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,680 – $1,770 (travel nurse pay)
• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• EMR: Cerner (experience required) — Cerner EMR experience preferred for ER roles

Top Qualifications

• Active RN license (state of practice required)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience — ER RN, trauma nurse experience preferred
• Cerner EMR proficiency required
• BLS and ACLS certifications (facility or state-required additional certifications may apply)
• Willingness to float as needed
• Charge nurse experience preferred (additional compensation available)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the Nursing Process, following state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies
• Deliver high-quality emergency and trauma nursing care for a diverse patient population
• Demonstrate critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership while prioritizing patient safety
• Respond effectively in trauma, stroke, and STEMI situations — facility is certified for trauma, stroke, and STEMI
• Delegate and supervise patient care based on staff education and experience; support and mentor team members
• Maintain and update clinical competencies through continuing education and required training
