Travel Labor & Delivery RN – 13-week assignment in Waupun, Wisconsin (zip 53963). Seeking experienced L&D RNs (2+ years) with active RN license, BLS, NRP and Epic charting skills for a women's health travel nurse position.

Job Details – Travel Nursing Opportunity (Waupun, WI)

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Travel Nurse
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
• Setting: Women's & Infants Unit / small critical access hospital (10–15 births per month)
• Shift: Nights – 3 x 12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00); 36 hours/week
• Orientation: 12 hours (pre-start modules required)

Required Qualifications – Labor & Delivery RN / Travel Nurse

• Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery and/or Postpartum RN experience (L&D RN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (valid for practice in assignment state)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic electronic charting (Epic experience preferred)
• Clinical skills: antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum care, EFM monitoring, IV therapy, medication administration, newborn assessment and care
• Experience with cesarean section support, multiple births, pain management, phlebotomy, and vaccine administration
• COVID-19 vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
• First-time travel nurses welcome; travel nursing and maternity nurse experience a plus

Primary Responsibilities – Labor & Delivery / Postpartum Care

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring mothers and newborns across antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum phases
• Monitor maternal and fetal status using EFM and perform newborn assessments
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and provide pain control per hospital protocols
• Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and the management of multiple births
• Support breastfeeding, provide lactation education, and teach newborn care and discharge instructions
• Offer parent education on newborn safety, including car seat safety and home care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social services, physical therapy) to ensure high-quality maternity care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic and participate in required weekend/night rotations
