- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend rotation — Night shift ER RN
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040 – $2,150 (competitive travel nurse pay)
Job Requirements
- Active RN license (Emergency Room specialty preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience (acute care/triage experience preferred)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
- Compliance with onboarding requirements: health screenings, background check, competency testing, and required immunizations
- Comfortable documenting and charting in electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
- Perform rapid assessment, triage, and ongoing monitoring of patients with a range of acute and emergent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders and ED protocols
- Provide trauma-informed care and assist with stabilization of critically ill or injured patients
- Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, and the multidisciplinary care team
- Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic medical record
- Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up resources
- Maintain a safe, organized ED environment and adhere to hospital policies and infection control standards
