Required Qualifications (ER RN / Emergency Department Nurse)

• Active, unencumbered RN license (compact or state license as required)
• At least 1 year of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience
• BLS certification required
• Additional certifications preferred: ACLS, PALS (or equivalent)
• Comfortable managing inpatient hold RN ratios/acuity and accepting ED patients as needed
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and competency checklists

Key Responsibilities – Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department/ED
• Rapidly assess, triage, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary healthcare team
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, clinical changes, and interventions in the medical record
• Respond quickly to emergencies, resuscitations, and changes in patient condition
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and ED protocols
• Coordinate patient transfers, admissions, and handoffs with inpatient teams to support optimal patient flow
