• Setting: Telemetry unit (cardiac monitoring)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (18:45 – 07:15)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,990 – $2,090
• Employment Type: Travel nurse / contract
• Floating: Yes, as needed (ability to float to other units required)
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Yes, unless requested off
• Orientation: Comprehensive 5-day orientation program

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license: Missouri RN or compact state nursing license
• Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience required (telemetry nurse experience)
• BLS & ACLS certifications required
• BSN preferred (but not required)
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Nicotine-free facility policy
• Experience with Altera Sunrise (formerly Allscripts) EMR is a plus
• New graduates are not accepted for this position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and continuous cardiac monitoring in the Telemetry unit
• Interpret telemetry and ECG data; identify and respond to dysrhythmias and cardiac events
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per orders
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to promote positive patient outcomes
• Accurate and timely documentation in the EMR (Altera Sunrise/Allscripts experience helpful)
• Float to other units as required by facility needs and staffing
• Participate in orientation, unit education, and ongoing professional development
