- Shift: 4x12-hour shifts per week (07:00 – 19:30)

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years recent Stepdown/PCU (progressive care unit) experience — ICU experience does not count
- Experience with 1:5 patient ratios in Stepdown/PCU or telemetry settings
- Registered Nurse (RN) license — any state RN license accepted; compact license accepted
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must pass online EKG/telemetry competency assessment prior to start
- Ventilator experience required (trach, vents, BiPAP, high-flow oxygen)
- EPIC charting experience preferred
- Previous travel nurse experience preferred
- Ability to work every other weekend and holiday
- Must be fitted for N95 mask prior to working on HRRU unit (unless PAPR provided)
Core Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care to adult and geriatric patients with complex cardiac and pulmonary diagnoses (COPD, CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, DKA, post-COVID)
- Manage cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, and advanced respiratory support
- Interpret and manage cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias as a telemetry nurse / stepdown RN
- Perform central line care, chest tube management, wound care, and operate specialized equipment (Golvo lift, HoverMat, Hercules beds)
- Work within a team nursing model, collaborating with RNs, PCTs, respiratory therapists, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
- Float to units within the main campus and nearby campuses (Centerville, Englewood) as needed
- Follow isolation precautions, PPE protocols, and unit-specific safety procedures
