- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6 weeks
- Patient Ratio: 1:3 (ER nursing)

Qualifications & Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Compact license accepted; must be in hand at submission)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department / ER RN experience (required)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- Proven experience in a community hospital and Level II Trauma Center environment
- Proficient with Epic electronic health record for documentation and care coordination
- Ability to work scheduled weekends and holidays; block scheduling participation required
- Must provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
- Department dress code: solid navy blue scrubs required
Core Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to a diverse patient population in a fast-paced ER setting
- Triage, assess, and treat patients with a range of acute diagnoses including stroke, STEMI, trauma, respiratory distress, and pediatric emergencies
- Manage a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio while ensuring patient safety, timely interventions, and positive patient experience
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams: respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, social services, and specialists
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic; participate in clinical handoffs and care coordination
- Adhere to hospital policies, Level II trauma protocols, and department dress code
- Participate in block scheduling and fulfill weekend/holiday coverage as required
