- Location: Santa Fe, NM 87505 (Santa Fe, New Mexico - travel nursing)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (travel assignment)
- Start Date: May 11, 2026
- Shift: 3:00 PM – 3:00 AM (12-hour nights)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,840 – $1,940
- Employment Type: Travel RN, Full Time (Emergency Department / ER RN)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room (ED) RN experience required
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or Compact state RN license acceptable
- AHA BLS and ACLS required; PALS or ENPC accepted
- TNCC or ATCN certification required (trauma nursing course)
- CPI or equivalent de-escalation training preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient education skills
- Ability to float to other units as needed and work rotating weekend shifts (up to 2 per 4-week schedule)
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Emergency Department: triage, assessment, and prioritization
- Obtain and document initial assessments, develop individualized care plans, and re-assess patients systematically
- Perform timely interventions, including resuscitation and trauma support as needed
- Conduct and document Point of Care testing and other ED procedures
- Participate in patient and family education, discharge planning, and care coordination
- Delegate and coordinate team assignments to ensure complete, safe patient care
- Collaborate with physicians, multidisciplinary staff, and ancillary services to optimize patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety procedures, and professional standards; pursue ongoing professional development
