• Location: Newton Lower Falls, MA 02462 (Boston area, Massachusetts travel nursing)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 3, 2026 – August 1, 2026)
• Weekly Hours: 40 hours guaranteed
• Shift: 8-hour night shifts; on-call required
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse (Travel RN)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,750 – $2,890

Required Qualifications (Interventional Radiology Nurse / IR RN)

• Active RN license in Massachusetts (MA)
• CVIR (Cardiovascular Interventional Radiology) certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year recent experience in Interventional Radiology, IR suite, or similar acute care/vascular procedures
• Moderate sedation skill set and experience administering/monitoring moderate sedation
• Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
• Willingness and ability to participate in on-call rotation
• Completion of required health screenings and background checks

Key Responsibilities (IR Nurse Responsibilities)

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing interventional radiology and vascular procedures in the IR suite
• Administer and monitor moderate sedation; recognize and respond to patient changes
• Collaborate closely with interventional radiologists, CV technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Prepare patients for procedures, assist intra-procedurally, and support post-procedure recovery and education
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
• Participate in on-call coverage and provide timely, professional care during emergent procedures
• Support patients and families through pre-, intra-, and post-procedural processes with clear communication and compassionate care
