Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 10, 2026 – August 9, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,140 – $2,290 (competitive travel CT pay)
- Setting: Hospital Radiology Department – Level 1 Trauma Center (trauma imaging)
- Shift: 12-hour weekend nights (Friday–Sunday, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours per Week: 36
- On-Site Position: Yes (local Kansas City, KS assignment)
- Orientation: 2-day orientation during first week (Monday & Tuesday)
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience in a Level 1 trauma center or high-volume hospital radiology setting
- Active ARRT (CT) certification – required
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Kansas license (Kansas Board of Healing Arts) – all credentials must be in hand prior to start
- Proven experience with GE Revolution 256 or Siemens Flash 128-slice CT scanners
- Nicotine-free facility policy – compliance required
- Position not open to new graduates – experienced CT technologists only
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging and trauma CT protocols in a fast-paced Level 1 trauma environment
- Operate, troubleshoot, and optimize advanced CT equipment (GE Revolution 256, Siemens Flash 128-slice)
- Collaborate with radiologists, trauma surgeons, emergency physicians, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure accurate, timely imaging and reporting
- Ensure patient safety, radiation dose optimization (ALARA), and strict infection control procedures
- Deliver compassionate patient care with clear communication to patients and families during high-stress situations
- Participate in scheduled weekend, night, and holiday shifts as required for hospital radiology coverage
