Travel Nursing Job Details — Show Low, Arizona (Med/Surg Telemetry)

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg Telemetry / Tele RN (Travel Nurse)
• Setting: 24-bed Med/Surg unit with Telemetry capability (heavy on Tele)
• Shifts: 12-hour Nights (Night Shift)
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Care Setting: Acute care, Med/Surg Telemetry, opportunity to float to ICU
• Charting System: Allscripts (Sunrise) — Allscripts EMR experience preferred

Qualifications & Requirements (Med/Surg Tele RN)

• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (Telemetry Nurse experience required)
• Current RN license eligible to practice in Arizona (Compact license accepted if valid in AZ)
• ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), and NIHSS certifications required
• PALS (AHA) preferred
• Strong neuro and cardiac skills with clinical monitoring and rhythm interpretation experience
• Ability to float to all Med/Surg units and ICU for MS overflow patients (ICU float experience a plus)

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting (acute care nursing)
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret telemetry rhythms; promptly respond to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including tele techs, charge nurses, HUCs, PCTs, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and hospitalists
• Document all patient care and assessments using Allscripts EMR (Sunrise)
• Maintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:6 on nights (subject to acuity) while ensuring safe, patient-centered care
• Participate in unit rounds, handoffs, and effective communication across the care team
• Float as needed to other Med/Surg units and ICU for overflow — support flexible staffing needs
