• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1800 - $1890
• Location: Germantown, TN (Zip: 38138) – Memphis suburb, Shelby County (Tennessee nursing jobs, travel RN)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• Shift: Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Unit: Med/Surg Telemetry – overflow, post-surgical, observation (telemetry monitoring)
• Role Type: Travel Nurse, Med/Surg Tele RN, Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Tennessee or Compact State (Nurse Licensure Compact - NLC)
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• At least 1 completed previous travel assignment required.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Travelers must live at least 100 miles from the facility
• Cerner charting experience preferred (electronic health record experience)
• Strong IV start skills and telemetry monitoring skills required (arrhythmia recognition, cardiac rhythm interpretation)

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a busy Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Manage patient ratios of 1:6/7, transitioning to team nursing with LPN support as needed
• Care for post-surgical, overflow, and observation patients in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Interpret telemetry strips, respond to arrhythmias, and clearly communicate clinical changes to the interdisciplinary care team
• Collaborate with Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Social Services, and case management
• Float between like units and campuses within 20 miles as required (flexible travel RN assignments)
• Participate in weekend and on-call rotations as required
• Maintain compliance with facility policies and Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) guidelines
