RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work in a hybrid PCU/Med Surg Telemetry unit with varying patient ratios (PCU 1:5, Med Surg 1:7)
• Schedule options include 36/36, 36/48, or 48/48 schedules available
• Rotating weekends and holidays required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating to Med Surg units required
• Must have 2 years of nursing experience with previous PCU experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers with Level 1 trauma experience
• Required certifications: AHA BLS, NIH, AHA ACLS
• Must live 100+ miles from facility
• 24 hours of orientation (16 hours non-billable)
• General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs
• Expected to participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Work with adult patients in a 19-bed unit with daily census of 17
• 24/7 phlebotomy, RRT, and supervisor support available
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Skills include telemetry monitoring, wound care, IV management, chest tube care, and various specialized procedures
