CVICU Registered Nurse (RN) — 13-week travel contract in Arlington, TX. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,570 - $1,650
• Location: Arlington, TX 76012 (Dallas-Fort Worth area)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour day shifts (06:45–19:15), no scheduled call
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Ratio: 4:1

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (state of practice)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of CVICU or cardiovascular ICU nursing experience; experience with cardiovascular devices and post-CABG recovery preferred
• CCRN certification preferred but not required
• Travel nurse eligibility: must reside at least 100 miles from the facility (driver's license required for verification)

Responsibilities

• Provide expert critical care nursing to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Monitor and manage patients with cardiac devices, hemodynamic support, and post-CABG recovery
• Utilize the CUB (cardiac universal bed) concept for safe, efficient cardiac patient care
• Float to Telemetry/step-down as needed to support unit needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including cardiology, cardiothoracic surgery, respiratory therapy, and critical care physicians
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold high standards of patient safety and quality
