Job Details
- Position: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist (Travel)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810 – $1,940
- Location: Lawton, OK 73505 — hospital radiology department (travel CT job, Oklahoma)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 21, 2026 – July 21, 2026)
- Shift: Sunday – Wednesday, 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM (10-hour nights) — night shift CT tech
- Hours per Week: 40 (30 guaranteed)
- Employment Type: Travel, On-site — allied health / radiology technologist role
Core Qualifications & Requirements
- Completion of formal radiologic technology training from an AMA- or JRCERT-approved program
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or ARRT-eligible (Radiologic Technologist)
- CT certification preferred (ARRT CT or equivalent)
- Current CPR certification required
- At least 1 year of CT Technologist experience preferred (up to 1 year considered)
- Ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
- State licensure if required by Oklahoma regulations for radiologic technologists
Primary Responsibilities
- Perform and assist with CT examinations for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients following hospital protocols
- Prepare and position patients; ensure patient safety and comfort during CT scans
- Explain procedures, risks, and contrast administration; obtain informed consent as required
- Set up and operate CT scanners and ancillary equipment; select appropriate technical factors and protocols
- Administer IV and oral contrast agents safely; monitor and respond to adverse reactions
- Maintain accurate documentation in the Radiology Information System (RIS), PACS, and electronic health records (EHR)
- Follow radiation safety and dose optimization practices (ALARA principles)
- Participate in quality assurance, equipment checks, and inventory management for scan rooms and supplies
- Assist with patient scheduling, clerical duties, and patient transport as needed
- Supervise and instruct student technologists or new staff when applicable
- Complete continuing education and maintain required certifications
