- Position: Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (IR RN) – Travel RN / Travel Nursing

- End Date: August 17, 2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,370 – $2,500
- Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (8-hour days; 36 guaranteed hours per week)
- Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
- On-Call: Rotating call with 5 other RNs
- Unit: Interventional Radiology (Ground Floor) — IR suite / angiography lab
- Number of Beds (Hospital): 225
- Patient Ratio: 1:1 (RN:Patient) — peri-procedural monitoring
- EMR: EPIC
- Scrubs: Light blue surgery scrubs provided
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Active RN license (Indiana licensure or RN Compact licensure preferred)
- ACLS certification required
- Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in acute care settings
- Experience with conscious sedation and continuous monitoring of patient vitals during invasive procedures
- Preferred experience: interventional radiology (IR), cath lab, emergency department (ED), or intensive care unit (ICU)
- Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team of technologists, radiologists, and RNs
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care during interventional radiology procedures and support peri-procedural nursing needs
- Administer and monitor conscious sedation under radiologist supervision and document sedation levels
- Continuously monitor and accurately document patient vitals and procedural data throughout invasive procedures
- Collaborate with technologists, radiologists, and other RNs to ensure optimal patient outcomes and workflow efficiency
- Participate in rotating on-call duties as required by the IR team
- Operate and support imaging systems including Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ ultrasound machines
- Complete required computer-based training, EPIC orientation, and facility onboarding prior to clinical start
