CT Technologist (Travel) – Richland, WA | ARRT (CT) required | 13-week hospital assignment at a Level II Trauma Center. Join our hospital team as a travel CT technologist in the Tri-Cities area and expand your computed tomography skills working with modern GE and Siemens CT equipment.
Job Details
- Location: Richland, WA 99352 (Tri-Cities / Columbia River area)
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 – $2,280
- Setting: Hospital — Level II Trauma Center (hospital CT tech role)
- Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:00)
- Hours per Week: 40
- On-call: Some call required (evenings after shift to 6:30am)
- Weekends: Limited weekends required (Saturday or Sunday as needed)
Job Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience (CT tech / computed tomography)
- Current ARRT (CT) required; ARRT (R) certification also required
- Active Washington State license (in hand at time of submission)
- BLS certification (American Heart Association)
- Experience with Epic charting system preferred (Epic experience a plus)
- Experience in a Level II Trauma Center preferred (trauma CT experience)
- Proficiency with a variety of CT procedures: abdomen, chest, brain perfusion, trauma protocols, vascular CTA, etc.
- Comfortable working with all patient age groups (neonates to geriatrics)
- Strong skills in preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years
Responsibilities — CT Technologist / CT Tech Duties
- Perform a wide range of CT scans for patients of all ages, including emergency and trauma imaging
- Operate GE and Siemens CT scanners and manage images using PACS
- Prepare, check, and administer contrast media per protocol and monitor patient reactions
- Follow radiation safety practices and maintain high standards of patient protection
- Start peripheral IVs when required and assist with patient positioning and comfort
- Document procedures and patient records accurately in Epic or other EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiologists, transport, and nursing staff
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide limited weekend coverage as needed
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures
