Job Details

• Location: Poplar Bluff, MO 63901 — southeast Missouri (outdoor recreation, parks, welcoming Midwest community)
• Position: Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) / Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse — Travel RN (13-week travel contract)
• Start Date: May 18, 2026
• End Date: August 17, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 10-hour days (6:45 AM – 5:00 PM); call required (at least two days per week and one weekend per month)
• Hours per Week: Guaranteed 48 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
• EMR: Cerner
• Unit: 3 Cath Lab rooms with 10-bed holding area
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Scheduling: Blocked scheduling available

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Missouri or compact state) — eligible for Missouri travel nursing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Cath Lab RN experience in cardiac catheterization / interventional cardiology
• Clinical experience with Impella insertion, balloon pumps, CSI, peripheral cases, Rota Pro, device implantation
• Experience with holding area procedures: cardioversions, EVLT, TEE
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to take scheduled call (at least two days/week and one weekend/month)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and documentation skills (Cerner EMR)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the cardiac catheterization lab, recovery, and pre-op holding areas
• Assist and scrub for advanced interventional cardiology procedures including Impella, balloon pumps, peripheral interventions, CSI, and device implantation
• Support holding area procedures such as cardioversions, EVLT, and TEE
• Perform technical duties to support Cath Lab workflow and patient throughput
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Cerner EMR
• Participate in on-call rotation and deliver compassionate, patient-centered cardiac care
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes in a busy Cath Lab environment
