Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Travel Nurse Contract | Philadelphia, PA 19140

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) travel position in Philadelphia, PA 19140. 13-week travel nurse contract with 12-hour night shifts — BLS required and minimum 1 year L&D clinical experience.

Job Details

Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370 (Competitive travel nurse pay)
Location: Philadelphia, PA 19140 — leading women's & families campus; easy access to museums, dining, and parks
Setting: Labor & Delivery Room (L&D)
Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel Nurse)
Start Date: May 4, 2026
End Date: August 2, 2026
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts/week, 36 hours/week)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in Labor & Delivery or related clinical specialty
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license or Multi-State Compact RN license
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Key Responsibilities

Assess, implement, and evaluate care for laboring and postpartum patients under the direction of a licensed physician
Apply evidence-based nursing practice in Labor & Delivery, including intrapartum and postpartum care
Perform and interpret fetal monitoring and collaborate on delivery management and immediate newborn care
Collaborate with patients, families, professional peers, and the multidisciplinary healthcare team to individualize care
Direct and support nursing staff to ensure care is delivered according to standards, policies, and procedures
Maintain professional education and specialty training as required
