Travel Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) – Philadelphia, PA | 13-week assignment at a Level?1 Trauma Center in North Philadelphia. Join a high-volume Cardiac Cath/EP Lab team and advance your cardiovascular nursing and interventional cardiology experience.

Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,500 - $2,630
• Location: North Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA 19140 (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania travel nursing opportunity)
• Setting: Cardiac Cath/EP Lab – 6-room unit with 9 holding bays
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 16, 2026)
• Shift: Shifts may be scheduled as either 4-10 hour shifts weekly (typically 8:00am – 6:30pm) or 5-8 hour shifts weekly, totaling 40 hours/week. On-call assignment included.
• On-call: 1-2 nights/week and every 4-5 weekends (dependent on staffing)
• Float Requirements: May be required to float between affiliated campuses within the health system

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab RN experience (interventional cardiology, PCI, structural heart preferred)
• Previous travel nursing experience required (travel RN, Cath Lab travel nurse)
• Active RN license (compact license accepted where applicable)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• RCIS certification recommended
• Ability to work on-call shifts, including nights and weekends
• Willingness to float to alternate campuses as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath/EP Lab including pre-procedure assessment, intra-procedure support, and post-procedure monitoring
• Assist with a variety of cases from diagnostic coronary angiography to complex PCI and structural heart interventions (TAVR, MitraClip support)
• Maintain appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios: 1:3 in holding and 1:1 during intraprocedure care
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to urgent and emergent cardiovascular cases
• Collaborate with cardiologists, electrophysiologists, technologists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Support safe patient transport and continuity of care when floating between affiliated campuses
