Registered Nurse (RN) – Home Health / Travel Nurse – Nashville, TN (37207)

Home Health RN travel assignment in Nashville, TN — 13-week role for experienced Registered Nurses with homecare skills; competitive weekly pay and mileage reimbursement. Job Details

Location: Nashville, TN 37207 (Nashville home health / Tennessee nursing jobs)
Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 6, 2026 – July 4, 2026)
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,120 – $2,230
Hours per Week: 40 (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Shift Duration: 8-hour shifts
On-Call/Weekend Requirement: 1 weekend per month (with LPN backup)
Travel Reimbursement: Mileage reimbursed between patient visits
Dress Code: Solid colored scrubs

Qualifications / Job Requirements

Minimum of 3 years Registered Nurse (RN) experience, including at least 1 year in home health or homecare nursing
Current RN license for the state of Tennessee (Home Health RN credentialing)
Current BLS certification
Associate's Degree in Nursing or higher
Strong documentation, clinical assessment, and communication skills for home health charting
Ability to work independently in community settings and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams

Responsibilities – Homecare / Home Health Nurse

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, ensuring comfort, safety, and high-quality patient outcomes
Perform nursing procedures and rehabilitation interventions according to individualized homecare plans
Assess patient needs, develop and implement appropriate interventions, and update care plans as needed
Observe, accurately document, and report pertinent clinical information to supervisors and physicians
Educate patients, families, and ancillary staff on health maintenance, medication management, and care procedures
Participate in evaluation of patient care outcomes and coordinate with case management and community resources
Provide leadership and mentorship to LPNs and home health aides when applicable, following nursing best practices
