Top Qualifications — Homecare RN / Travel RN Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state required for assignment
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher; BSN preferred
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; home health or homecare experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and patient education skills
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
• Ability to work independently, manage a flexible travel schedule, and complete in-home visits
• Reliable transportation for travel between patient homes (valid driver’s license and insurance)

Key Responsibilities — Home Health Nursing / In-Home Care

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes, following individualized care plans
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and document clinical findings accurately in the EMR
• Administer medications, IVs, treatments, and wound care as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
• Coordinate care and communicate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals
• Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as scheduled
• Maintain compliance with agency policies, state regulations, and home health quality standards
