• Location: Bryant, AR 72022 and surrounding Central Arkansas counties (Pulaski, Saline, Jefferson)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN assignment (7 weeks, April 20, 2026 – June 5, 2026)
• Setting: Home Health and Hospice, patient homes
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed 32 hours/week)
• Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, 8-hour shifts
• Mileage: Reimbursed between patient visits
• On Call / Weekend: Negotiable

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arkansas or compact state
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN); BSN preferred
• At least 1 year of clinical nursing experience; home health or hospice experience strongly preferred
• Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) or similar home health electronic documentation systems
• Strong communication skills, excellent bedside manner, and cultural sensitivity
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel daily between patient residences in Pulaski, Saline, Jefferson, and surrounding counties

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate hospice and home health nursing care to patients in their homes, focusing on comfort, symptom management, and dignity
• Perform comprehensive assessments, develop individualized care plans, and document clinical findings in HCHB or the designated EMR
• Conduct hospice admissions, ongoing needs assessments, and patient education for families and caregivers
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary group (IDG), including case managers, social workers, physicians, and home health aides
• Manage a patient caseload while ensuring continuity and quality of care across multiple home visits
• Adhere to agency policies, state regulations, and hospice clinical guidelines for end-of-life care

Skills and Competencies

• Clinical proficiency in symptom assessment, pain management, wound care, and medication administration
• Strong documentation and time management skills for travel nursing caseloads
• Ability to work independently in home settings and escalate concerns to interdisciplinary team members
