Travel Cath Lab RN – Richardson, TX | 13-week contract. Seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse for a travel nursing job in the Dallas-Fort Worth area (Richardson, TX 75082). Ideal candidates have 2+ years Cath Lab RN experience, ACLS/BLS/RCIS certification, and Epic charting skills. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,620 - $2,760
• Location: Richardson, TX (75082) – Dallas/Fort Worth, TX travel nursing opportunity
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 8, 2026 – September 7, 2026)
• Shift: Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts per week (07:00 - 17:00)
• On-Call: 8-10 days per month, including at least one weekend
• Setting: Cardiac Cath Lab – adult and geriatric patient population

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab RN or cardiac catheterization RN
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• ACLS and BLS required; RCIS required (AHA preferred)
• Epic electronic medical record experience required
• Current RN license in Texas or compact license eligible; meet state travel nurse licensing requirements
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Cath Lab, including monitoring and assisting with cardiac catheterization and interventional cardiology procedures
• Accurate hemodynamic monitoring and assessment during procedures
• Assist with angioplasty, stent placement, pacemaker insertion, and other interventional cardiac procedures
• Maintain sterile field, scrub in as needed, and support procedural workflow
• Prepare vascular access sites and support vascular closure systems
• Recognize and respond to life-threatening arrhythmias and peri-procedural complications
• Maintain cath lab equipment and inventory to ensure readiness for cases
• Participate in on-call rotation and weekend coverage as scheduled
• Document patient care accurately and promptly using Epic charting
