• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 – $2,030

• Employment Type: Travel Contract (Travel RN)
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours/week
• Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:30), 3 shifts per week — Night Shift RN
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Holiday Requirement: Agency staff are not scheduled on holidays
• Start Date: May 4, 2026
• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: Typically 1:4 on standard Med/Surg units (may vary by acuity)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg nursing experience (no new grads) — Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse required
• Active RN license (compact or Pennsylvania RN license as required)
• BLS and NIHSS required; TNCC and ACLS preferred
• Strong proficiency with EPIC EMR (experience with electronic medical records preferred)
• Ability to float between multiple units (Med/Surg, step-down, med/surg holds in ED) and adapt to varying patient populations
• Reliable, professional, and compliant with hospital policies, documentation standards, and medication safety protocols

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across inpatient Medical-Surgical units, step-down units, and ED holds
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and function independently as a Float Pool RN
• Adapt quickly to different unit workflows, patient acuity, and team dynamics
• Complete a short orientation at Main Campus and Women & Families units as required
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC and uphold medication safety standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
