Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,480 - $1,590 (competitive pay for travel CT technologist)
• Location: Pensacola, FL 32514 (Pensacola, Florida travel assignment)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (March 27, 2026 – June 26, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour days (Friday – Sunday, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Setting: Hospital Radiology Department (Perdido Bay FSED, 15 beds) – Emergency Department collaboration
• Dress Code: Black scrubs
• Equipment: GE CT scanners and PACS for high-quality computed tomography imaging

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of CT technologist experience in a hospital setting (CT tech, CT technologist, radiologic technologist)
• CT ARRT certification (ARRT (CT) required)
• Radiologic Technologist ARRT certification
• Valid State of Florida licensure
• Proficient in performing all CT exams, including CTA and perfusion studies (computed tomography angiography)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of CT procedures, including advanced exams such as CTA and perfusions, ensuring diagnostic image quality
• Operate and optimize GE CT equipment and CT scanners; follow radiation safety and imaging protocols
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the hospital system and PACS
• Collaborate closely with ED staff, ultrasound techs, and radiologists to support emergency and inpatient imaging needs
• Deliver excellent patient experience, maintain professionalism, and ensure patient safety during all CT exams
• Float between X-ray and CT as needed to provide 24-hour coverage and support cross-sectional imaging demands
