• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend (Fri/Sat)
• Orientation: 12 hours (department-specific, typically 1 week)

Required Qualifications & Certifications

• Minimum 1 year recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Active Illinois state license or proof application initiated (state licensure for CT techs)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification – CT
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) certification
• Experience with GE CT scanners strongly preferred
• Level 1 trauma experience and prior travel technologist experience highly desirable
• IV start competency required for contrast-enhanced studies
• Negative drug screen required (OSF is a Drug-Free Campus)

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform basic and advanced CT imaging procedures in a fast-paced, high-acuity hospital environment
• Operate CT scanners (GE experience preferred) and ensure image quality and patient safety
• Use Epic EMR for accurate charting and communication with the care team
• Start IVs for contrast studies and follow contrast safety protocols
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to deliver excellent patient care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, professional standards, and dress code (solid color scrubs or prints)
• Participate in department orientation and continuing training as required
• No floating to other departments required
