Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (Travel RN) – Cleveland, OH (44195)

Travel RN opportunity for an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) in Cleveland, Ohio. 13-week travel nursing contract starting May 27, 2026 — ideal for a Medical-Surgical RN / Telemetry RN with 18+ months recent experience, an active Ohio RN or Compact license, and current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.

Travel Nurse Job Details

• Location: Cleveland, Ohio (44195) — Cleveland healthcare, Ohio nursing jobs
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Telemetry Unit (Telemetry RN / Med-Surg RN)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: May 27, 2026
• Shifts: 3x12-hour rotating shifts (Day: 7:00am–7:30pm / Night: 7:00pm–7:30am; facility may require rotation)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,130 – $2,250
• Employment Type: Travel RN, On-Site

Travel RN Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience prior to travel assignments
• Active, permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (active, not pending)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty required for submission
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Ability to work at least every other holiday during contract (shift flexibility required)

Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care on a busy Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, respond to telemetry changes, and perform timely interventions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, bedside staff, and ancillary services) to ensure positive patient outcomes
• Float to units J1-2, J33, and Emergency Department (ED) as needed to care for similar patient populations
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the facility EHR/EMR using established charting systems
• Participate in orientation, complete required competency assessments and training modules, and maintain compliance with facility policies
• Provide compassionate support to patients and families while maintaining patient safety and quality standards
