Job Details

• Setting: Hospital-based diagnostic imaging / nuclear medicine
• Hours per Week: 40
• Shift: 8-hour day shifts (5 shifts per week)
• Role Type: Travel contract, on-site PET/CT technologist role

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year clinical experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist; PET/CT experience preferred
• Valid Nuclear Medicine certification (ARRT(N) or NMTCB) — required
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary imaging/radiology team
• Strong patient care, communication, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

• Perform PET/CT imaging procedures with precision, following established safety and radiation protocols
• Prepare, handle, and administer radiopharmaceuticals per institutional and regulatory guidelines
• Operate, maintain, and calibrate PET/CT imaging equipment and troubleshoot basic technical issues
• Accurately document patient records, imaging findings, and dose information in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with radiologists, nuclear medicine physicians, and clinical staff to support diagnostic workflows
• Provide compassionate patient preparation, education, and monitoring throughout imaging procedures
