Travel Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) – Willoughby, OH | 13-week contract – Active Ohio RN and recent Med/Surg experience required. Join a supportive hospital team on the east side of Cleveland with virtual nurse assistance hospital-wide.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,800 – $1,890

• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 30, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Employment Type: Travel nursing
• Unit: Medical/Surgical (45 beds, 28 telemetry beds) — Med/Surg RN / Telemetry Nurse role

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• Minimum 1 year of recent medical-surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
• Experience caring for telemetry patients (preferred)
• Medical/Surgical RN certification preferred
• Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings, background checks, and skills checklist
• Available to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care in a busy medical-surgical unit
• Monitor and manage telemetry patients with appropriate assessments and interventions (typical ratios 1:4–1:6)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and case managers
• Utilize virtual nurse assistance and hospital-wide clinical support to optimize patient outcomes
• Accurately document patient care, assessments, and discharge instructions in the electronic health record
• Participate in unit rounds, patient and family education, and discharge planning to promote safe transitions of care
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and infection control protocols
