Job Details

• Location: Willoughby, OH 44094 (Willoughby, Ohio travel nursing)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 30, 2026)
• Setting: Medical/Surgical Unit – 45 beds, 28 telemetry beds (Med/Surg/Telemetry nurse)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and every other holiday required (night shift RN)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,800 – $1,890 (competitive travel RN pay)
• Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel RN job, Medical-Surgical nurse job)

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg nursing experience; telemetry experience preferred
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4–1:6 (medical-surgical staffing)
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and background checks
• Up-to-date immunizations: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza, TB/PPD
• Driver's License or State ID
• Skills checklist and competency exams as required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate patient care on a busy Med/Surg unit
• Monitor and assess patients, including telemetry monitoring and interpretation (telemetry nurse responsibilities)
• Administer medications and treatments safely and as prescribed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and utilize virtual nurse assistance when available
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on care plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up
• Maintain a safe, supportive environment for patients and staff and follow hospital policies
