Job Details

• Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 (Hunterdon County, New Jersey)
• Position Type: 13-week contract – Emergency Department RN / ER nurse (on-site)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
• Hours per Week: 36 (hospital nursing job)
• Shifts: Flex shifts: 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM or 12:00 PM - 12:30 AM (based on department need)
• Schedule: Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
• Start Date: June 16, 2026
• On-Site Position

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) / emergency room nursing experience required (ER nurse, triage nurse, acute care)
• Active New Jersey RN License (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption is provided
• Professional appearance: any color scrubs acceptable if clean and professional
• Strong clinical assessment, triage, and documentation skills for acute and emergent conditions

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate patient care in the Emergency Department and emergency room setting
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a variety of acute, emergent, and urgent care needs
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, perform ED procedures, and ensure accurate clinical documentation in the electronic health record
• Provide patient and family education on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, patient safety standards, and infection control practices
