Patient Care Technician (PCT) – Hospital position in Vineland, NJ (08360): 13-week acute care role supporting bedside patient care and vital signs. Join our Vineland healthcare team and help deliver compassionate hospital patient care in a collaborative environment.

• Location: Vineland, NJ 08360 (May float to Elmer, NJ)
• Setting: Hospital – Acute care / inpatient units
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $710 - $760
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13-week contract (option to extend)
• Shift: Includes every other weekend and holiday
• Scrub Color: Steel Grey
• Transportation: Reliable transportation required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current CNA or PCT certification (Certified Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Technician)
• At least 2 years of experience as a CNA or PCT in an acute care setting or hospital
• AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Proven patient bedside experience, including taking and recording vital signs
• Ability to float between Vineland and Elmer locations as needed
• Willingness to complete all orientation requirements and attend scheduled training/classes

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assist licensed nursing staff with daily patient needs
• Take and accurately record vital signs, intake/output, and basic observations
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable patient environment in rooms and service areas
• Follow directions from registered nurses (RNs) and other licensed personnel
• Participate fully in required orientation, in-service training, and competency assessments
• Float to different units or facilities as assigned to support staffing needs
