• Position: Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) – Travel Nurse
• Setting: Med/Surg Telemetry (may float to J1-2, J33, and ED for similar patient populations)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 12, 2026
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,130 - $2,250
• Shifts: 12-hour rotating shifts (Days: 7:00am-7:30pm / Nights: 7:00pm-7:30am; typically 4 shifts/week; flexible scheduling may be required)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract – On-site

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry RN experience (permanent or travel)
• Active permanent Ohio RN license or Compact State license in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA or American Red Cross)
• One supervisory reference (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) in the specialty
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation
• COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Willingness to float to similar units (J1-2, J33, ED) as needed
• Availability to work at least every other holiday during the contract

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry and telemetry nurse patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and ECG rhythms; respond promptly to cardiac events
• Administer medications and therapies safely, following hospital policies and safeMedicate standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, RRTs, pharmacy, case management) to coordinate patient-centered care
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
• Float to J1-2, J33, or ED for similar patient populations when requested
• Participate in orientation, competency assessments, and ongoing training (ECG, ACLS refreshers as needed)
