• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Start Date: June 29, 2026
• End Date: September 27, 2026
• Shift: 12-hour days (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Employment Type: Travel RN (cardiac step-down / telemetry)
• Setting: Cardiac Stepdown Unit / Cardiac Telemetry

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Ohio or compact state)
• At least 1 year of recent experience in a Cardiac Stepdown, Cardiac Telemetry, or similar acute care setting
• BLS certification (required)
• Completion of all required onboarding health screenings and background checks
• Strong clinical assessment, cardiac monitoring, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, patient education, and teamwork abilities

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from cardiac procedures, heart failure, arrhythmias, and post-op cardiac surgery
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry, interpret changes, and respond promptly to patient status changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed according to policy
• Collaborate with cardiology, physicians, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, post-procedure recovery, and discharge planning
• Document patient care accurately and timely in the electronic medical record (EMR)
