• Shift: Weekend and holiday rotation required (every other)

• Reliable transportation required: may be floated to Vineland/Elmer locations as needed

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent (required)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a CNA, PCT, or CMA in an acute care or hospital setting (acute care experience preferred)
• Patient bedside experience, including taking and recording vital signs
• Certification accepted: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Patient Care Technician (PCT), or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)
• American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (required)
• Ability to complete mandatory orientation and training as scheduled (no rescheduling permitted)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct bedside patient care and clinical support under the direction of registered nurses
• Monitor and document patient condition, including vital signs and basic observations
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), patient mobility, and comfort measures
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in patient rooms and service areas to support infection control
• Follow nursing care plans and communicate changes in patient status to the RN team
• Float between Vineland and Elmer hospital locations as needed to support staffing
• Participate in unit-based orientation, ongoing training, and adhere to hospital policies (badge identification, attendance)
