We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to join a hospital team in Doylestown, Pennsylvania (Zip: 18901). Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,130 - $1,210
• Location: Hospital setting in Doylestown, PA (18901) — serving Bucks County and greater Philadelphia healthcare area
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, evenings (3:00pm – 11:30pm)
• Hours per Week: 40
• Duration: 13 weeks, temp-to-perm with potential for permanent placement
• Employment Type: Local contractors only; local sterile processing jobs preferred

Key Responsibilities (Sterile Processing / SPD)

• Perform cleaning, decontamination, inspection, assembly, sterilization (autoclave/steam, low-temperature processes) and storage of surgical instruments and equipment
• Operate and monitor sterilization equipment and follow hospital infection control protocols and OSHA standards
• Maintain accurate records using instrument tracking systems and SPD software (instrument tracking, lot control)
• Collaborate with surgical, nursing, and central sterile teams to meet daily operating room and procedural needs
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and shelf-life control for sterile trays and sets
• Provide excellent customer service to internal departments and support a culture of patient safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in sterile processing required (examples: CRCST, CSPDT — certification type may be specified by employer)
• Minimum 1 year of sterile processing experience required (2 years preferred) in a hospital or central sterile environment
• Familiarity with instrument tracking systems and basic computer skills
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer relationship skills
• Willingness to convert to permanent employment if selected
