Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830–$1,970
- Contract Dates: 6/29/2026 – 9/28/2026 (13 weeks)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00pm–7:00am); every other weekend required
- Hours: 36 hours per week guaranteed
- Charting System: EPIC (experience with EPIC preferred)
- Floating: May float to Meridian Medical Center and Nampa Medical Center
- Dress Code: Any color scrubs (clean and professional)
Required Qualifications
- 2–3 years experience as an RRT preferred; 3–5 years as a CRT accepted for travel respiratory therapist roles
- Hands-on experience with adult, pediatric, and NICU respiratory care
- RRT credential preferred; CRT with required experience considered
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications required
- Ability to assist with intubation (not required to intubate independently)
- Familiarity with NAVA on Servo ventilators for NICU preferred
- Open to first-time travel therapists and travel RT assignments
- Must meet facility radius rule (permanent address outside 50 miles)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory therapy treatments and manage all RT equipment across inpatient adult, pediatric, and NICU units
- Perform arterial blood gas (ABG) sampling and interpretation
- Assist clinicians with intubation and emergency airway management as needed
- Operate and troubleshoot ventilators, including experience with NAVA/Servo systems in the NICU
- Safely transport patients and manage respiratory care during transports
- Float to Meridian and Nampa medical centers as required by staffing needs
- Collaborate with hospitalists, intensivists, nurses, and lead therapists to deliver coordinated patient care
- Complete department orientation and participate in ongoing training; maintain compliance with hospital protocols
