Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 - $2,550
- Location: Columbus, Ohio (zip 43214) — Columbus CT technologist role
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 29, 2026 – September 28, 2026)
- Shift: Day Shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm (5x8-hour shifts per week)
- Setting: Hospital — adult patient population
- Daily Census: ~25 patients
- Travel Contract: Travelers only; must live more than 100 miles from central Columbus
- Schedule Perks: No weekends or holidays required
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a CT Technologist or CT Tech in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Active ARRT (R) certification (Registry required)
- Current BLS certification
- Ohio Department of Health (ODH) certification or ability to obtain prior to start
- Proven experience performing CT and diagnostic x-ray procedures; prior CT contrast administration experience preferred
- Experience with GE scanners and PACS systems preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with radiologists and interdisciplinary clinical teams
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality Computed Tomography (CT) and x-ray imaging for adult patients following department protocols
- Prepare, calculate, and administer IV contrast media safely and document contrast usage per policy
- Operate GE CT scanners and PACS for acquisition, archiving, and image retrieval
- Perform advanced post-processing: 3D rendering, multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), and region-of-interest measurements
- Start peripheral IVs and perform venipuncture for contrast administration
- Follow radiation safety guidelines, isolation precautions, and proper use of PPE
- Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and imaging documentation in electronic systems
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
