Job Requirements

Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or compact RN license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
At least 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience or related acute care experience
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in Labor & Delivery
Collaborate with physicians, patients, families, and interdisciplinary care team members to support safe outcomes
Monitor patient status and respond appropriately to changes in condition
Provide direct bedside nursing care in accordance with professional standards and unit policies
Direct and support nursing staff as needed to help ensure quality patient care
Document care accurately and maintain a high standard of clinical practice
