Pediatric Registered Nurse Job – 12-Week Contract in West Chester, Pennsylvania

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Registered Nurse for a 12-week on-site contract opportunity in West Chester, PA. Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2000-$2100
• Location: West Chester, Pennsylvania
• Start Date: 7/9/2026
• Duration: 12-week contract
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every 3rd weekend
• Unit: Pediatric 8 bed unit
• Patient Ratio: Typically 1-3 patients per nurse

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of full-time general pediatric nursing experience required
• Active Pennsylvania RN license or compact RN license
• BSN required
• Current BLS certification
• Current NRP certification
• Ability to complete full compliance requirements prior to start
• Professional, flexible, and team-oriented approach to patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality pediatric nursing care to patients in an acute care setting
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status and response to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support care plans
• Deliver family-centered care with strong communication, compassion, and clinical support
• Respond effectively to changes in patient condition and prioritize care needs
• Support a safe, efficient, and professional pediatric unit environment
• Demonstrate initiative and adaptability in a small-team setting
