• Location: Reading, Pennsylvania 19607
• Setting: Medical-Surgical Telemetry (Med/Surg Tele)

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: 36 hours per week
• Shifts Per Week: 3
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Nights
• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend rotation
• Employment Type: Local

Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• 2 years of RN Med/Surg experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license
• Experience caring for adult patients in a Medical-Surgical Telemetry setting
• CERNER experience preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
• Ability to work night shifts and weekend rotation as needed

Registered Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a Med/Surg Tele environment
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Interpret telemetry data and report changes in patient status promptly
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support quality patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records documentation
• Support a safe, compassionate, and efficient care environment throughout each shift
