Med/Surg Tele RN Job Details

Registered Nurse (RN) Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent RN experience required
• Recent Med/Surg Telemetry or telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
• Active New Jersey RN license required
• Ability to assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic hospital and acute care environment

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
• Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient status
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and update documentation in a timely manner
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support safe, effective patient care
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, recovery, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
