Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
• Recent Med/Surg Tele or telemetry nursing experience strongly preferred
• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of New Jersey or compact eligibility, as applicable
• Ability to monitor, assess, and document patient status accurately in a telemetry setting
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary care team
• Willingness to work night shifts and adapt to unit needs

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Tele unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and promptly communicate changes in patient condition
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
• Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and update documentation accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, patient-centered environment while supporting quality outcomes
