Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
• Previous Emergency Room nursing experience strongly preferred
• Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or compact eligibility, if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills in a high-acuity emergency care environment
• Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams while maintaining compassionate patient care

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and care for patients presenting with urgent, acute, and life-threatening conditions in the emergency department
• Perform rapid triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity and clinical need
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to provider orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support efficient Emergency Room workflow and patient throughput
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing actions
• Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
