Immediate opening for an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. This 13-week local contract is ideal for an ER nurse who thrives in a fast-paced emergency department, acute care, and high-acuity clinical setting while delivering timely, compassionate patient care in the 19104 area.

Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse (RN) experience required
- Previous Emergency Room nursing experience strongly preferred
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license or compact eligibility, if applicable
- Current BLS certification required
- ACLS certification preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and multitasking skills in a high-acuity emergency care environment
- Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams while maintaining compassionate patient care
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and care for patients presenting with urgent, acute, and life-threatening conditions in the emergency department
- Perform rapid triage and prioritize care based on patient acuity and clinical need
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to provider orders and clinical protocols
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to support efficient Emergency Room workflow and patient throughput
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and thoroughly in the medical record
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and initiate appropriate nursing actions
- Provide patient and family education related to treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- Maintain a safe, organized, and patient-focused care environment
