ICU Registered Nurse – Travel Nurse Contract in Philadelphia, PA

• Shifts per Week: 3 shifts per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
• Time Off Requests: Must allow all 3 weekly shifts to be worked

Job Requirements

• 2+ years of recent ICU Registered Nurse experience required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
• Previous travel nursing or contract RN experience required
• EPIC electronic medical record experience required
• Active Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania or compact eligibility, as applicable
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and patient assessment skills
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, fast-paced acute care environment

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, response to treatment, and changes in condition
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Operate and monitor specialized ICU equipment and support devices
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and ongoing care needs
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the EPIC electronic medical record system
• Support patient safety, quality care standards, and unit workflow throughout the assignment
