- Shift Duration: 12-hour rotating shifts
- Hours Per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,360 - $2,480
- Positions Available: 4
- Charting System: Epic
- Orientation: 20 hours
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CVICU RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse license; pending Utah RN license accepted if in hand prior to start
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Epic charting experience required
- CRRT experience required
- Swan-Ganz / pulmonary artery catheter experience required
- Experience with MCS devices such as Impella, IABP, LVAD/RVAD, and ECMO
- Strong critical care background managing ventilated patients and complex cardiac drips
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide expert nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a high-acuity CVICU environment
- Monitor and manage patients requiring CRRT, Swan-Ganz monitoring, and advanced mechanical circulatory support
- Titrate vasoactive medications and cardiac drips based on patient condition and provider orders
- Care for ventilated patients and support respiratory management as needed
- Perform central line, arterial line, PICC, and IABP-related care and monitoring
- Interpret ABGs and dysrhythmias while responding quickly to changes in patient status
- Deliver safe, collaborative care alongside the interdisciplinary critical care team
- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold high standards of patient safety
